Abteilung 502 Burnt Umber is a versatile, deep earthy brown oil paint ideal for adding realistic shading, depth, and weathering effects to scale models, miniatures, and dioramas.

Also known as Brown Wash, this classic color is particularly effective for enhancing details and creating natural shadows on sand, yellow, tan, and light brown surfaces. Use it alone or blend it with other oil colors to create subtle tonal variations, realistic grime, and aged finishes.

Formulated specifically for scale modeling, Abteilung 502 oils feature high-quality pigments and reduced oil content for controlled blending and a more matte finish.
