The thick, workable gel allows modelers to create everything from calm ocean surfaces and gentle swells to choppy seas, waves, and rolling water. Its extended working time makes it easy to shape realistic surface movement and texture before drying.

Water-based and odorless, Deep Oceans can be blended with other compatible water effects or small amounts of acrylic paint to adjust the color. Once dry, it produces a realistic translucent water finish.

Application Notes

• Ideal for naval dioramas, ship models, coastal scenes, harbors, and open-water environments.

• Paint the underlying surface in your desired ocean tones before applying the gel.

• Apply using a palette knife, spatula, or similar modeling tool.

• Work in thin layers for the best appearance and finish.

• Shape waves, swells, and surface movement using brushes or sculpting tools while the gel dries.

• Add compatible white foam effects to create breaking waves, whitecaps, and water movement around vessels or shorelines.

• Mix with small amounts of acrylic paint or compatible water effects to adjust the color.

• Dilute with water or acrylic thinner to adjust consistency.

• Allow approximately 24 hours to dry, depending on application thickness and environmental conditions.

• Clean tools with water after use.
